Whatever your talents are, we can find a place for you. Opportunities are available to accommodate your schedule during the day, evenings or even Saturdays!

- All applicants 18 years or older will need to also provide a copy of a valid Driver License or ID. We accept volunteers starting at age 13. Volunteering looks great on job and college applications! Applications must be signed by a parent or guardian.

Volunteer Opportunities
The art department is looking for instructors to share their talents to teach fine art and craft classes.
If you love to sing or dance, look out for auditions to share your talent in one of the musical or variety shows. For those that would rather be “behind the scenes” we are looking for volunteers to assist with photography, videography, or sound and lighting.
Assist members at the sports and aquatic reception desks*, coach beginner pickleball players or help with one of the 5K Run and other various health related activities.
Love gardening or just being outside? Join our garden team, led by Nancy Szerlag, and help keep the OPC Cottage Garden looking beautiful. The group meets seasonally on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Duties include welcoming shoppers, assisting with displays and ringing up sales. Hours: Monday – Friday 9:45 am – 2:00 pm
Delivering Meals on Wheels: Make a meaningful difference by delivering a hot meal and a friendly smile to homebound older adults. Routes take 60–90 minutes using your own vehicle. We welcome both weekly routes and substitute drivers.
Cafe’: Support our Café team by assisting customers at the register, delivering food orders, and tidying tables between guests. Shifts available from 11 am – 1:30 pm.
Kitchen Help: Assist with packaging Meals on Wheels, serving, bread donations and more.
Share your passion, talent and knowledge to teach a class in a foreign language, computers, guitar, ukulele, drums and dance or give a presentation on your favorite subject. Lead a discussion group, assist as a table host, server, greeter and with other jobs for a variety of programs.
A variety of opportunities are available to help support the aging in place of the seniors in the area with leaf raking and other supportive services.
The OPC hosts several special events throughout the year. There are several opportunities to volunteer for these events with minimal time commitment. Opportunities include set-up, greeters, ticket takers, wait staff, and clean-up crew.
Our Welcome Center volunteers* provide general information, tours of the facility and assist with the medical loan closet.
